Quilts

Within this section of the store you will find hand crafted quilts and singlets for sale. They have all been made by hand but I do play with hand stitch, hand knotting, machine stitch and even applique. they have all been made with panels that have been hand painted, screen printed or digitally printed from one of my own original drawings.

I primarily make whole-cloth quilts which are traditionally made with plain fabrics or a simple broad two-tone stripe. I am exploring a contemporary approach to this historic method of quilting where the reliance for decorative qualities comes through the quilted stitching rather than a patchwork of different fabrics. 

Making these quilts by hand is a labour of love and fully embraces the slow-making ethos, these heirloom quilts can be used practically as everyday household items or, presented as hangings in an interior space.
